I think Fashion Fabrics Club/Denver Fabric can eat my shoe. Do they not know what they are selling or maybe they should email you that the fabric you want is sold out!

that happened to me--twice!!! they only told me it was sold out after i had gone through the entire process of placing the order. i emailed them back with maybe more than a hint of annoyance, and the lady said she'd gladly check the availability of other fabrics i was interested in before i placed an order. still... it's very annoying!

it amazes me that they can't track it online - places like fabric.com and reproductionfabrics.com do it!

Agreed! I ordered ten yards of a silk from them. A week or two later, I got an email saying they only had four yards and what should they do? I told them to send me all of it and asked if they knew if they'd be getting more in. I received a reply to the negatory. A couple more days went by and I got (along with a spam forward from the woman who had emailed me) a repeat email, asking what they should do because they didn't have ten yards. I emailed back again and said "send me all of it!" and refrained from the invective. By the time they finally got around to sending it to me, they only had two yards.

I mean, it worked out, but WHAT?

You would think that they would email and ask if you want something different? Of course I don't like this moire but I do like the tropical weight wool I bought - maybe I'll buy some of that instead!
