I would like to share my pain.....

I'm not perfect, but this is just disrespectful of anyone elses house even when they tell you to make yourself at home!

Okay, a bedroom is a bedroom. I could cut him some slack as long as there isn't any food laying about.

However, the washroom floor? Lazy!

At least he keeps the hamper good and clean.

Ha, that's my hamper..... that had clean clothes in it until last night, that t-shirt is on the back of a dining room chair (Ben and I do not leave clothes in the living room/community areas for longer than they need to be left on the floor)..... I'll cut him some small slack for the bedroom but you can't' see the stack of empty soda cans. It's probably also frustraing since that's ben's man-den and he keeps in spotless. My sewing room is a mess but it's crafty and I pay good money to live here.

Oh, I wasn't telling you to cut him some slack. I was just saying I would. It's your place.

I'm not a very tidy person (lazy perfectionist), so I can't judge too harsh. My office is very cluttered. I blame the cats. Gold brickers!

I wasn't saying that - I can cut him some slack for the man-den (if the door was closed).... I'm a neat piler and you don't even want to see my desk at work but my mess is confined to non-communal area.

Oh, and I found a half a pretzel and a tortilla chip under the sofa today.

and for that phrase you get a gold star..... I know I'm not great - you've seen my sewing room - but you've also seen my living room when I have it the way I want it and it's frustraing that I can't keep that my way because of his stuff!

As a confirmed slob, that's awful. Never, ever, ever let slobbiness into communal areas, and never, ever, ever allow food into the mix because that crosses the line from slobbiness into filth.

And also, in someone else's home? Be neat. Really.

I'm so sorry!

Ainsley looks rather perturbed as well.

That is seriously appalling. That's the kind of thing I find disturbing at someone elese's place already. But at my own ? He'd find all his stuff piled in one corner of his room. You've got way mor epatience than I have !

That's dreadful! You should treat someone else's house better not worse!!

Sewing Blog

Hello! First, I quite agree with you- other visitors should not make themselves this much at home!! I am a fellow sewer, and I enjoy reading other sewing blogs, both for knowledge and companionship (other's opinions, comments on my sewing, etc.).

I would like to continue reading your blog, but I don't know if you have posted since May of last year?

NATO takes over command of military operations in Libya

NATO is taking over command of military operations in Libya from coalition forces, world media reported Sunday.

The UN Security Council imposed the no-fly zone over Libya on March 17, along with ordering "all necessary measures" to protect civilians from Muammar Gaddafi's attacks on rebel-held towns.

The 28 NATO ambassadors met on Sunday to decide on further military plans in Libya.

The United States transfers command for a no-fly zone over Libya to NATO, while coalition forces will continue to protect civilian population from attacks by Gaddafi forces.

The military operation in Libya, codenamed Odyssey Dawn, has been conducted so far jointly by 13 states, including the United States, Britain and France.

NATO members decided on Thursday to assume responsibility for the enforcement of a no-fly zone in Libya, but could not agree on taking full command of all military operations in the country.

Meanwhile, leaders of the 27 European Union states on Thursday issued a statement saying the EU stood ready to assist in building a new Libya "in cooperation with the United Nations, the Arab League, the African Union and others."
